BLEEDING PURPLE AND GOLD!!!!!

Packers here we come! I have been waiting for this week for a long time! On Monday, the Vikings and Packers square off on PRIMETIME! That play to end the game on Sunday was amazing! I haven't seen a Viking QB do that for years.

I'm not ignorant and am not in the crowd that believes a title is in our near future, but I do not rule out the possibility. IF we fix the minor problems in pass protection and miscommunication, we can do a lot! Enough about the Vikes.

How about those Twins! As I type they are in their second of two games today, winning the first! This year has been a roller coaster, to put it lightly, and I can't get enough of it. This final week of Twins Baseball in the dome will be a Good One!

For those of you who don't care about the Twins or Vikes....

School has been great! German is tough, but a lot of fun. I have had a lot of trouble in helping in another history reaction game. It is totally foreign information for we and the game rules are difficult to work with.

Otherwise, life is great. I'm enjoying working on the Rockwall and in the admissions. Just getting over a cold from this weekend, so that isn't fun.

I've been newly appointed as "Sergeant at Arms" of the History Club, lol! It is a position of power with few responsibilities, but requires full participation. I work with a good group of friends in the club and think this should be a lot of fun.

Well, I suppose it’s time to go. Stay Classy, and

Auf Wiedersehen!

I'm Back!! Tips for a Successful College Experience

Hey Everyone,

I'm back in school now, and have been here for a few weeks now. As I think about starting my third fall here at MSUM, I came up with a few things for you (future college students) to think about and try when you attend a school in the coming years. Now, before I tell you these things, realize they may not be easy to do, but are vital to having a good first semester.

  • Use your time wisely. I realize many of these tips, including this one, you have heard over and over. Even so, in college you are EXPECTED to get your work done on time! Most professors in college are not nearly as easy to deal with high school teachers.

  • BE READY TO START RIGHT AWAY!- I know that isn't the most favorable thing to do right off the bat, but if you want to have a successful year, this is important.

  • I will also advise you to do projects and paper as early as possible. Many people have them build up due to procrastination and leave things until the end of the semester. This forces students to either have a nervous breakdown or spend many late nights catching up.

  • Lastly, be ready to enjoy yourself! College is about gaining a knowledge of a lifetime, but that doesn't just include an academic one. Meet new people, see new things, visit new places! This is the biggest tip I can give you now. Just remember when you are buried in you notes before your final exams that college is about ENJOYMENT over everything else!
Until next time, Stay Classy and Auf Wiedersehen!
