Favre in Purple?

I have to spout off again on the Vikings! With the talk of Favre's release by the Jets, my hopes are once again high for the Vikings. I hate this feeling though. I get so pumped up about possibilities for improving our sports teams (Vikings, Twins, Wolves) and are let down most of the time. I don't even know if I want Favre here. It will never happen, but I can't help but to think about this. I really think that if we were to pick up Favre, and he stays healthy, we WILL seriously competing for the Super Bowl. Now about my day at school.
Classes are going well. Today was our last day with the alternative students from the RRALC. It was very fun and I'm glad to have done it. Every student we worked with seemed to truly enjoy the time with us and I feel we did good for them. As good as it is going, I can't wait until may 15th. I have had enough school and tests and notes. Stay Classy!

Hey Ya'll, hows life treating you? Its been pretty good for me as of late. I'm excited about the chances of the Vikings again this year, but with caution closely following behind. I feel we drafted well, if Harvin turns his life around, and like our free agent signings. Now I go into the upcoming season with the same exact question as last year. "Will our quarterback be good enough to compete at a high level, if not for the Super Bowl?" I don't feel T-Jack is the answer. I'm hopeful Rosenfels can be like Trent Dilfer during his time with the Ravens by leading the team to the Super Bowl by not making mistakes that will lose the game and protecting an outstanding defence. I do realize that every year, the Vikings find a way to let us down somehow, but a guy can hope, can't he? Enough about that, on to school.
Classes are going very well, everything is starting to wrap up and final projects and papers are all due soon. that means a tiny break for this week, YES! We only have 2 weeks of classes left! Gov in Crisis is now done for me, after the final speech yesterday. I have to say I will miss this class. Any one reading this, if you can take this class, DO IT! It is well worth the work and money. Well, time to go, Stay Classy!

School is starting finish up for this semester so it is getting a little more stressful and demanding.
Making this process worse, I caught a cold Sunday night, amking the beginning of this week horrible. I have started to "go down hill" with my cold, but I'm still not 100%. The Student Academic Conference was Yesterday and I presented a speech about early American educational advocates, including Jefferson and Franklin. This coming weekend will be a busy one for me, I need to write a paper or two, start writing a poem, and read a few chapters to start the poem. Tomorrow and friday I will be helping interview prospective Admissions members for next fall, which should be a quite interesting process to take part in. It will be cool to give a "yes" or "no" to someone for once after years of that being given to me for years. Away from school for a second, I hope this D-1 hockey team happens for us! It would be sweet to have that at MSUM! Well, Stay Classy!

The Pressure is Off!!!!

Wow, what a week, or Wednesday for that matter! The French Revolution is Over, resulting in my death, again, and the Apprenticeship scholarship was due today.I couldn't believe how stressful it was to put the scholarship together. I am glad, either way if I get it or not, that the process is over and it has been submitted! One major stress is gone! Yes, I was killed in Gov in Crisis again. With one day left at that! The projected flood crest is expected to much lower than first estimated which is a plus as well. I will finally get trained on Friday in to work the rock wall at the wellness center. I have been waiting for this for months. The rock wall should be a good and exciting experience for me! Well, off to work, Stay Classy!

Crazy Wednesday!

Good to be back people! My Governments in Crisis class was crazy today! We were told at the beginning of this class, the French Revolution was nuts, but I wasn't ready for this. Things are not going my way at all. Nothing is really getting done. My Alternative Students project was today as well, and that went really well. The students liked our theater games we decided on, including strange superheros, one word sentences, and more. I was nervous for the experience, but I was glad it went the way it did. The students were nervous as well ,but they came around and felt more comfortable just as we did. I'm glad the Twins are back on! The Monday game was disappointing but last night's was awesome. The 9th inning rally was just what we needed to start the season. Hope this keeps up and we can continue this and have a good season! Well, time for me to go, Stay Classy!

An Unbelievable Experience!

Wow! That is all I can say about the last few weeks. We have been out for the past 3 weeks now, missing two full weeks of classes! This is all due to the Flood of 2009, and its not even over yet. They expect it to crest again at or above the record level it reached earlier this spring (about a week ago). It is truly amazing to think about what has come about from this whole situation. So many people have shown up to help with this whole deal. The number of volunteers was astronomical. I will never forget the goods times I had with total strangers "on the dikes." Most everyone was in a good mood, even with the river mere feet from their homes. Food was plentiful, people were friendly and energetic, and most of all, they came in huge numbers. People from all over showed up to help. I hear of people from California, Nashville, and everywhere in between. They say we filled enough sandbags to completely go around the Empire State Building! With all the bad things that came out of this flood, I think the best things that came out of was truly AWESOME this community and the nation really is. Besides, now they can't say my generation is lazy and selfish, because as they have been saying from the start, the college students saved Fargo-Moorhead! Well, back to work for me, Stay Classy!
